This yarn is knitted in a similar manner to the ruffle yarns. Stitches are made through the loops in the fine ladder at the top of the yarn allowing the lower ladder to scrunch up to produce a soft small ruffle that is lovely and cosy. The end result is a fluffy ruffle scarf (click on the picture of the scarf on the left to get a better view of one we knitted up). The sequencing of the colours gives a lovely striped effect on the scarf. We also think this yarn would make an amazing cushion cover. This is a quick knit and can easily be done in an evening. Perfect for a quick hand-crafted Christmas gift. Knits on 6-7mm needles. A free scarf pattern is included on the inside of the ball band.
