Proving very popular with US knitters Hiya Hiya needles have finally arrived in the UK. These beautifully made Hiya Hiya Interchanegable Needle Sets are supplied in their own pretty storage case together with 4 cables and a set of needle grips for when you need to tighten the connection between the needle tip and cable.  The bags are cleverly designed to store your tips safely and securely and feature two zipped pockets. The pocket on the back is for storing cables, the second pocket is for small notions, enabling you to keep everything tidy and clean.  The bag design is the same for each set, however, the fabric/colour may vary.

The needles are stamped with the size in both US and metric, the cable connectors are stamped with the lengths too.  The lengths given for the cables include the tip length when connected.

The cables that come with the small set have smaller connectors than those that come with the large set, but adaptors are available to convert your smaller connection cables to your larger needles.  Cable connectors are also available in both sizes so you can lengthen your cable if required, please see our Hiya Hiya accessory page for details.

If you are a regular on the Ravelry forums you will know what a hit Hiya Hiya needles are proving with knitters around the world. The Hiya Hiya Interchangeable tips are crafted beautifully and join seamlessly with the cables for easy snagfree knitting. The tips are all stamped with the sizes for easy identification.

Available in 3 types there is sure to be one (or more) that suit your knitting requirements. Needles tip sizes upto and including 5mm use small connector cables, needle tip sizes 5.5mm and above use large connector cables.

Tip Adaptors are available to increase a small cable connector for use with a large needle. Connectors are available to make larger cables if needed or you can join both ends of the cable together to keep your work secure while using the tips elsewhere.

We as well stocking different sizes and lengths we stock the 3 main types of needle:

Bamboo - High quality, smooth bamboo needle tips, light and easy on your hands. The smaller sizes are available as 4 inch length tip, all sizes are available as 5 inch length.

Sharp - These high quality sharp needle tips are ideal for working lace projects and are a similar tip to Signature stiletto needles, just with a slightly shorter taper. Available in both 4 inch and 5 inch length and in all sizes.

Steel - Beautifully crafted these needle tips have a more rounded end than the sharp version, perfect for every project. Available in both 4 inch and 5 inch length and in all sizes.

Prices vary according to the size of the needle tip 3.75mm and 4mm needles retail for £5.99, 4.5mm, 5mm and 5.5mm for £6.49 and 6mm are available for £7.49

Hiya Hiya have produced a fabulous set of Crochet Hooks all beautifully packaged in their signature chinese brocade fabric case. The set contains 15 high quality coloured aluminium crochet hooks - 1 each of sizes 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm, 3.75mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm, 5.0mm,5.5mm, 6.0mm, 6.5mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm and 2 glittery acrylic hooks 1 each of sizes 12.0mm and 15.0mm making 17 hooks in total.

There are spare pockets in the case for you to add other hooks, DPNs or needle tips. A protective flap is folded down over the hooks and the whole set then folds up and is secured by a fabric ribbon hooked over a button. Absolutely gorgeous and will make a great gift for all crochet fans.

These clever tip adapters come in packs of 2 and screw on to the small connector cable allowing a larger needle (5.5mm and above) to screw into the adapter. Perfect if you do not want to invest in the larger connecting cables or perhaps just need the larger needles occasionally.
