Overseas Yarn Deliveries

We will now ship orders to Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Overseas orders are shipped via Royal Airmail. Customers wishing to place orders for overseas deliveries must use Paypal to pay for the order.

Charges

Airmail charges are normally based on the weight of the delivery. To keep things simple we are charging a flat fee regardless of size of order. For Europe this fee is £5 per order, for the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand the delivery fee is £8 per order. Orders over 2kg in weight may be split into multiple packets/parcels, where this occurs we will inform you in an email.

The prices displayed on this website are inclusive of 20% VAT. For orders to be delivered to the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand we will knock off the VAT during the checkout phase. That's a huge saving for overseas shoppers.

Delivery Times

The Royal Airmail state that deliveries to Western Europe normally take 3 days, 5 days to Eastern Europe and 7 days for the rest of the world. Please note that these are business days and the time frames are not guaranteed. Most feedback we've had shows these times are being met but occasionally it does take longer.

Important Note

Finally it is important to note that orders sent overseas overseas maybe subject import duties and/or additional taxes charged to comply with foreign regulations or laws. You will be responsible for paying all such charges. Athenbys has no control over such charges and are unable to predict what additional expenses maybe incurred when shipping to a particular destination. Additionally goods shipped internationally maybe subject to inspection by custom authorities and as such maybe opened. You must comply with all laws and regulations of the country for which the Goods are destined. Athenbys are not liable for any breach of any such laws.
