This is a fantastic value pattern leaflet that contains instructions for 4 styles of hat and 4 styles of hand coverings.  Using a mixture of rib and plain stocking stitch these would be great projects to practise shaping skills whilst producing wearable and practical items.  This pattern includes sizing for children and adults and each garment requires only one 100gm ball of yarn.  Other DK weight yarns may be substituted but please check your tension before you begin as amounts may vary.
